Well, you don’t have to “go it” alone?

I am a trained and experienced teacher and I find that most all my students just want to “know what they have to know” and how they can accomplish something in the shortest, easiest, and simplest manner. Here’s your chance! The work is done for you because I have already created everything to get you to your destination, i.e., a credential as a massage therapist and/or a personal trainer.

I am an American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Certified Personal Trainer AND Certified Health Fitness Specialist.  In addition, I have the Certified Personal Trainer AND Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist credentials from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).  I have been an Ohio Licensed Massage Therapist since 2000 AND received my national certification in massage therapy and bodywork from NCTMB (National Certification in Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork) in 2008.All of these certifications require a person to pass an exam.  So, you can see that I have been pretty successful passing exams.  In fact, I like taking exams!

For the last 30 years, I have been teaching in the field of health, wellness, and fitness having taught in higher education, at a massage therapy school, and through workshops for those aspiring to get a certification in personal training or strength and conditioning.  For the past seven years, I have taught a fall and spring 9-week series of review classes for those aspiring to pass their State of Ohio massage therapy exam.
