June 2008 SMB Exam Review Class

Well worth every penny spent!

I did really well during my time in school, but so much information! How was I supposed to cram all of this information into one day...and the passing rate for the SMB exam....not so high! I didn't want to take my chances on my own. Dr. Fischer's class was extremely helpful. She and Beth gave me just the information that really mattered for the test. The things that I thought I knew well became so much more clear, and all those muscles!  The small groups really helped with learning the muscles better. Going over them again and again and seeing where it is on the body and demonstrating how it works was great. I know them so much better now. Access to the previous SMB exam content questions and the mock boards really helped me to learn. Having an insight into the type of questions the board asks helped me to prepare even more.  It was also very helpful when Kim would point out what the question was usually about on any given topic as we went over the notes. I am grateful to Kim and Beth for offering this class. I was prepared and confident. I was not apprehensive at all the day of the test, I just wanted to get in there and take it already! Well worth every penny spent!

December 2008 SMB Exam Review Class

…Everything good you hear & read about Kim's class is absolutely true...

She is enthusiastic about being there (even on a Sunday!) with a roomful of students, and she teaches with that enthusiasm. Her material is accurate and often times word for word what you will see on the actual state board exam. Her method of teaching is also quite humerus (sorry, couldn't resist the spelling pun), as she finds the most ridiculous ways to make the information stick in your brain. I was literally taking that exam, and had to smile quite a few times when I came across words and concepts that reminded me of things she had said & done to make it funny. Kim not only cares about the test material, but she will give you terrific advice for the actual test day. Little did I know that an unexpected turn of events 3 hours before the exam would land my husband in the ER, and I would have to leave him there to go take the exam. I was stressed, and I was unfocused. I remembered Kim saying, "Answer ten questions, put your pencil down, take a drink of water, and take a few deep breaths to help stay focused." I did just that, and as simple as it sounds, it worked wonders. Also, what you pay for the program is an excellent price, but what Kim doesn't advertise is that when the review class ends she'll still keep in touch with you, giving you encouragement, advice, other opportunities, and even a congratulations email! She offers a helping hand if you have any questions or concerns all throughout the program, and leaves that hand extended even after the results are posted. It was definitely the best money I ever spent, I know I wouldn't have passed without her class, and THANK YOU KIM FOR HELPING ME ACHIEVE MY BIGGEST ACCOMPLISHMENT EVER!

The SMB review class gave me a better perspective…

...on all the information I needed to know.  It also helped me learn new ways to remember important information.  The class materials were great - easy to follow and very helpful! I really enjoyed the way the class was taught, it offered a different perspective, coming from a different instructor, rather than getting the same views from the same instructors in classes. Kim is so energetic and fun and it just makes it easier to sit there for three hours! I am so glad I took this class….

It was more than worth it. After graduating, I realized I needed to keep sharp for the upcoming State Medical Board Exams. I found it to be extremely valuable to get another viewpoint on what I had learned. Both my classes and the Board review class overlapped well and gave me the confidence I needed to sit for the exams. I plugged into Kim’s Board Review class, group study sessions and even took some one on one tutoring. Each helped in their own ways, independently and corporately. The board review class gave me a great structure with which to study at home. The group study sessions helped give me perspective on the questions others had and gave me new ways to look at things.
